Finishing touches for your mani

There is more to making your nails look great than just polishing them…  you must go that extra mile and make sure they have a clean look to them. I try so hard to keep polish from going places I don't want it but it is inevitable. It will happen. Here is a tip on cleaning the mess.

TOOLS: A bottle of nail polish remover, a flat paint brush, Q-tips, and a napkin.

  1. Pour a little nail polish remover into the bottle cap.
  2. Get a small, flat paint brush... I use Q-tips when cleaning up a bigger mess like excess stamping on finger.
  3. Dip the brush or Q-tip in the nail polish remover.
  4. Carefully go around the cuticle and clean up the excess nail polish.
  5. Wipe the brush on a napkin to remove the polish so you’re not spreading it around.

After you’re finished, you should apply a little cuticle oil to keep your cuticles from feeling dry. I use both OPI Avoplex and California Mango.
